Uroktor Ecology / ウロコトルの生態 The juvenile forms have an under-developed scale that secretes a non flammable liquid and live mainly on land as they are not able to dive into magma. Their range of activities spread gradually as their outer shell-covering develops and the bill and fins grow. Because they are relatively weak, they rely on the Agnaktor's left overs for food. Uroktors will skillfully use their beaks to pick up and eat any small pieces of meat left on the ground by other monsters. For this, they are known as the house cleaners of the volcano. Although they will rarely hunt for themselves, they may sometimes prey on beetles like the Bnahabra. It has been witnessed to dive into the ground or lava waiting for an insect to hover over, then jump out for its prey.
