天空の王者と呼称され、畏れられる飛竜。雌火竜と共に巣を中心とした広いテリトリーを形成し、空から監視する。テリトリーに侵入した者には優れた飛行能力で上空から急降下し、毒を含む強力な爪で襲い掛かってくる。火を吐くことから“火竜”と呼ばれる。  Terrible wyverns called the 'Kings of the Skies'. | "天空の王者"とも呼ばれる雄の飛竜。リ才レイアと 共に集を中心とした広い縛張りを形成している。リ才 レイアとは違い、地上に留まることが少なく、頻繁に 大空を飛びながら獲物を探す。性格は獰猛で、繙張り を侵すものに対しては容赦なしレ火を吐くことから"火 竜"と呼ばれ、飛竜の代名詞的な存在でもある。 驚くべきはその獰猛さと強さだけにあらず、リオレウ スを天空の王者たらしめるその強靭な翼も捕食される 側にとっては脅威のひとつ。中空から炎のブレスを放 つたり、突如急降下し毒爪で襲いかかるなど、驚異的 な飛行能力を持つ。 |  Close up of Scales |
R athalos' Foot / リオレウスの足形棲息域によってモンスターの性質や 特徴は異なるが、この地方のリオレ ウスは足の形状に最も特徴が表れて いる。第一指のみが、他の指と逆の 方向に生え、獲物を押さえ掴みやす くなっているのだ。生態系、擐境の 違いなど理由は様々考えられるが、 リオレイア、ディアブロスも同様の 形状をしていることから、さらなる 調査が必要であろう。 | |
