Territory Dispute and Breeding / 繩張り争いと繁殖方法 During the dry season, the males will collide in fights using their heads to hit each other. By driving out the other males, they hope to secure their choice of mating partners, although the females will breed will multiple mates. The females will lay as many as 10 to 20 eggs at a time. Their method for egg laying is still shrouded in mystery, however, many theories exist. One theory suggests that they stack up mud in the swamp to form a mound and lay the eggs there. The hatched larvae will spend most of its time on the mound eating small insects until it has grown to a certain size. When it is ready to venture out of its nesting area, they will hunt for insects by destroying ant hills. Other than a male Barroth's head being relatively larger than a females', there are no significant differences between the genders.
Mud Bathing with Special Nostrils / 特殊な鼻孔と泥浴び A leading theory as to why they bath in the hot dry mud is that it protects their bodies from parasites and other blood feeding insects. Diving into the mud would make it difficult for the Barroths to breath, so it is believed that over time the nostrils had evolved to the top of their heads. Barroths are often witnessed rubbing their heads against the ground, as dirt and other foreign objects may accumulate and block the air holes. This may also be their way of adjusting and balancing the weight of the mud they carry.

If he is about to sling mud around get underneth him and he caint get you but stay clear of it if it happens to get near you but that usuallly dosent happen

I don't know if this is true or not but when barroth is covered by mud, your attacks are weaken a bit..
But the one thing is true that you can reduce the amount of mud around him to avoid being a mud glob
, attack certain areas like the tail or its arms to reduce the places where you can be a mud glob..
